Why do I get charged for "Special Assessments" on a parcel that I purchased at the Auditor's Sale?
Per the Prosecutor's Office, if an assessment has been certified to the Auditor but not yet on the tax bill, it will remain on the parcel under Ohio Revised Code (O.R.C.) 5723.

Special Asssessment
A charge that the city can assess against real estate parcels for certain public projects (Sewer, Weed/Waste Removal).
